Model 12 lapidary diamond saw is a 12-inch precision cutter, glass coldworking and lapidary agate slab saw with heavy-gauge, powder-coated steel tank, powerfeed, crossfeed vise, and a 1/2 horsepower 110v motor. Includes ThinLine sintered diamond blade.

ARBOR SHAFT – Cold rolled steel machined to 3/4 inch bearing diameter; 5/8 inch diameter for diamond saw blade
BLADE FLANGES – Steel 2¼ inch outside diameter
AUTOMATIC CUT-OFF SWITCH – Adjustable for length of cut
POWERFEED – Approximate workpiece infeed rates 11¼ inches per hour, 3/16 inches per minute.
SPLIT NUT DRIVE – Engages carriage with powerfeed screw. Released by a flip of the handle for quick carriage return.
ROLLER BEARING CARRIAGE – Carriage rides on precision roller bearings instead of metal on metal bushings resulting in accurate operation that will never wear out.
WAYS – 1-inch square cold-rolled steel structural tubing
SAW BOX – Welded 16 gauge steel. Inside dimensions are 14½ inches wide x 8½ inches deep x 22½ inches long. Overall height with the hood closed – 30 inches.
VISE – Steel iron jaws; 4" high x 4" long

The Highland Park 12-inch slab saw is designed for the discerning craftsman. It is ideal for cutting agate specimens, limb casts, iris, opal, and other valuable materials where reducing blade kerf and achieving consistent smooth cuts is critical. The Model 12 is not a trim saw with a powerfeed added to it. Designed from the ground up to produce precise smooth cuts with a “real” vertical vise that will hold the material properly and a full metal enclosure, it features the same proven design concepts incorporated in the larger Highland Park style slab saws. Simply put, the Highland Park Model 12 is unmatched in its class!
