Vesuvianite exhibits shades of green to brown with prismatic crystal formations. Suitable for cabbing, tumbling, and slab cutting, it has a Mohs hardness of 6.5–7. Lapidary artists can create polished cabochons, slabs, or display specimens that highlight vesuvianite’s natural crystal structure and color variations.
