GRINDING HEADS – Precision aligned to maintain accurate grinding cup position which is key to allowing high grinding spindle speeds
SPHERE SIZE – Cut up to 7 inch diameter
ARBORS – Cold rolled steel machined to 3/4 inch bearing diameter. Standard 5/8 – 11 thread for mounting sphere cups
HARDENED STEEL GUIDES – Precision machined to 1 inch for stable, precise operation
LARGE SPIN HANDLES – For quick and precise adjustment
FOOT ACTIVATED RELEASE – Moves all three grinding heads back in a single motion allowing quick change of spheres in seconds eliminating the need to re-set the head tension every time you change the sphere
FRAMEWORK – Heavy duty powder-coated steel with integrated stand
MOTORS – Three 110 volt 1/3 H.P. with thermal protection and start and run capacitors (230 volt 50 Hz available)
THE STANDARD FOR HIGH SPEED SPHERE CUTTING
Introduced in 2011, the Highland Park three head High Speed Sphere Machine is becoming the standard for serious sphere cutting by both collectors and commercial shops. Capable of producing 100-125 finished spheres a week using our specialized diamond tooling with rough grind taking about 6-10 minutes for a 2.5 inch sphere depending upon the material and the quality of the preform. This machine completely changes the game of creating collector quality spheres. Compared to the old grit style machines, this machine is much easier for a beginner to learn as well. A beginner can finish their first sphere in the same day.
A single Highland Park Lapidary High Speed Sphere Machine can out-produce over 30 conventional three head sphere machines.

No handling charges are added beyond the stated product price; however, if your location cannot accommodate standard large-truck access, or if special access, re-delivery, or additional services are required, additional fees may apply.
